I liked the episode when Opie and his friends befriended a hobo, and Barney used a checkers game to distract Opie, and get him to confess that he took the pie from his house. It was even better when Andy asked him, "Dud you take a apple pie from the refrigerator?!" When Plus admitted it, Andy replied, "There's some other things missing about town, like a turkey, a ham and some other things. Don't reckon you'd know nothing about them."

Every time someone asks me What is your favorite tv show or which one is the best, funniest " Got to love my spelling". anyway. I always say, All in The Family. or The Honeymooners or I Love Lucy or maybe even Seinfeld. but I never say The Andy Griffith show never, Yet. it seems like it is the only one that I still watch almost every day, it is on like 5 times a day lol. and I have seen every one about 40 times each. yet. I still sit down and drink my tea and have a little snack and watch this show. Can it be that even I do not realize that this really is my favorite show. more so than The Carol Burnett show and all the others? Hmm. ya know, it could be!!!

A great performer ! I watched this episode for the I don't know how many time last night and as always got choked and teared up . Don was a true legend ! He could make you cry laughing one minute and cry sad the next . Rest In peace to All that has left us from the Andy Griffith show through the years 🙏 and Thank you for laughs and memories

Barney wasn't the only who didnt have a good voice. Andy's voice wasn't that good either. Hated when andy sang as if he could sing. Loved the show and all it's characters.❤

My wife and I recently joined a small country church and we sing 3 or 4 hymns each Sunday and this song was one of the songs we sung ! What a joy it truly is 🙏💖

Andy was the picture perfect father. What in the hell happened to our country? I wasn't even alive when this show was broadcast. Some of y'all between this time and my time fucked up real bad.

This is absolutely one of my very favorite scenes in the entire series. Just watching the beginning of it, I'm tearing up and grinning like an idiot. TAGS is the greatest.
